About us
A repair shop, not a phone-shaped vending machine
Why we do it this way
Most people who walk in have already been told their device is not worth fixing. Sometimes that is true. Far more often it is a £49 battery, a port full of lint, or a backlight filter the size of a grain of rice — and someone has quoted a new handset instead.
So we do the boring things properly. We diagnose before we quote. We tell you which grade of part is going in and what that changes. We put the price in front of you before we pick up a screwdriver, and if the job turns out simpler than expected, you pay less rather than the number we first said.
What we actually do
Screens, batteries, charging ports and cameras are the daily bread — most are finished in half an hour while you have a coffee across the road. Behind that we do the work fewer shops will touch: board-level micro-soldering, water-damage recovery, data recovery from devices that will not power on, and laptop upgrades that make a five-year-old machine genuinely usable again.
We also sell what we would use ourselves. Cases, cables and chargers that survive a rucksack; tested refurbished phones and laptops with a real warranty; and we buy devices in, so the drawer full of old phones at your house is worth something.
Where to find us
232 High Street, Walthamstow, London E17 7JH. We are the yellow shopfront near the market end of the High Street, a few minutes from Walthamstow Central. Open seven days a week, walk-ins welcome throughout — though booking a slot means the part is already on the bench when you arrive.
Bring it in, and we’ll take a look
Free diagnostics, and nothing to pay until you are holding a working device.
