Cookie policy
A short, complete list of every cookie this site can set — what it does, how long it lasts and whether you can turn it off.
Last reviewed:
Strictly necessary — always on
These are exempt from the consent requirement under regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, because without them the things you asked for simply do not work.
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
mf_csrf | Protects our booking and contact forms against cross-site request forgery. Without it we cannot safely accept a submission. | 12 hours |
mf_session | Keeps shop staff logged in to the admin area. Only ever set for staff accounts — never for customers. | 8 hours |
mf-cookie-consent | Browser storage, not strictly a cookie: remembers the choice you made in the banner so we do not ask again on every page. | Until you clear it |
Analytics — only with your consent
We would like to know which repair pages people actually read, so we write better ones. Nothing is loaded unless you agree, and if you decline the site works exactly the same.
Nothing is currently installed. When analytics is added it will be listed here with the specific cookie names, the provider and the retention period, before it is switched on.
Advertising — only with your consent
We advertise locally, and measuring whether an ad actually brought someone in requires a cookie from the ad platform. Again, nothing loads unless you agree.
Nothing is currently installed. If we add Google Ads or Meta pixels, this table will list them here — with the cookie names and their lifetimes — before they go live, and the banner will ask you again.
Change your mind
You can change your choice at any time. This clears our record of your decision and shows the banner again on the next page load.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop the booking form working, which is unfortunately unavoidable.
