What the job involves
Lithium batteries lose capacity from the day they are made. If your device shuts down in the cold, drops 20% at a time or warns you about battery health, a new cell restores it far more cheaply than a new device. We fit tested cells, calibrate the first charge cycle and dispose of the old battery under WEEE rules. Swollen batteries are handled as a priority — stop using the device and bring it in.
Questions about battery replacement
Will my iPhone still show battery health after the swap?
Apple shows a 'Service' or 'Unknown part' notice for any battery not fitted by Apple, including genuine cells. Capacity reporting works normally on most models. We will explain exactly what your model will show before we start.
How long does a new battery last?
Typically 2–3 years of normal use, or roughly 500–800 full charge cycles. Ours carry a 6-month guarantee against defects.
