Terms of use
These terms cover your use of this website. The terms for an actual repair are separate and more important — see our repair terms.
Last reviewed:
1. Who runs this site
This website is operated by MANGOFONE LIMITED, 232 High Street, Walthamstow, London E17 7JH, a company registered in England and Wales (registration number to be inserted before launch). Contact us at info@mangofonerepair.co.uk.
2. This site does not sell online
You can browse our stock and reserve an item, but there is no checkout. We take no payment and store no card details on this website. A reservation is a request to hold an item for you — it is not a contract of sale, and the sale happens in the shop when you have seen the item and we have both agreed.
Booking a repair through this site is likewise free and non-binding until we have inspected the device and you have approved a price. See our repair terms.
3. Prices and availability
We work hard to keep prices and stock accurate, and the site updates continuously from our own inventory system. Even so, a busy Saturday can sell an item before the page refreshes. If something is listed at the wrong price or is no longer available we will tell you before you commit to anything — we will never take money and then quietly substitute or cancel.
All prices include VAT at the prevailing rate. Repair prices include fitting unless stated otherwise.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false bookings, or automate submissions to our forms;
- attempt to gain access to the admin area or any account that is not yours;
- scrape, copy or republish our price list or product descriptions for commercial use;
- introduce malware, or attempt to overwhelm the site or interfere with other people’s use of it.
We rate-limit forms and log abuse. Persistent misuse may be reported and may be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.
5. Content on this site
Our text, layout, logo and photographs belong to us or our licensors. You may print or download pages for your own reference — for instance to bring a price to the counter — but not republish them commercially.
Manufacturer and brand names (Apple, Samsung, Google and others) are the trade marks of their respective owners. We use them descriptively to say which devices we repair. We are an independent repair shop and are not an authorised service provider for, endorsed by, or affiliated with any of these manufacturers.
6. Reviews and testimonials
Any review shown on this site is a genuine review from a real customer. We do not write, buy, incentivise or edit reviews, and we do not hide unfavourable ones. Publishing fake reviews is a banned practice under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, and quite apart from the law it is a stupid way to run a shop.
7. Information, not advice
Guidance on our repair pages — what to do with a wet phone, whether a battery is worth replacing — is general information based on our experience. It is not a diagnosis of your particular device. If in doubt, bring it in for a free look.
8. Liability
We provide this website with reasonable care but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on information here where you have not asked us to inspect the device, or for losses caused by matters outside our reasonable control.
We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. External links
Where we link to another site — a map, a manufacturer’s support page, the ICO — we are not responsible for its content.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one published when you used the site. Significant changes will be noted by the review date at the top of this page.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
